Did anyone else rent or buy Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life just to see Gerard Butler's screen test for it? XD It was extremely awesome...

I liked the screen test but didn't borrow the movie just because of it. I also enjoyed the alternate ending.

Yes and no.

I borrowed it from the library the first time for the movie itself. I didn't see the extras the first time around. Then I heard about the screen test and ran back to the library to get it again.

I still need to buy the DVD one of these days...it's one of the few I don't have.

I bought it for all the special features (I'd already downloaded the screen test) - deleted scenes, alternate ending, and of course the awesome screen test. He flubbed a line there, I think, but calmly improvised and continued on smoothly.

He did ... where ... I missed that. But then again I think he did good on the screen test.

Which reminds me I am actually buying this for my co-worker I told her about the movie and how Gerry was in it. She wanted to see "I am charming" part so I am going to buy it for her on Monday.

Oh, he did very well! He didn't really flubbed the line, just rephrased a couple of words, I think. Arghhh...I must get my copy back from my friend and watch it again! :glasgowkiss:

The screen test was just an added bonus. :shower: I bought the movie sight unseen for Gerry.

I also like where he talks about the upside down thing & how much he hated it. Bout lost his lunch.

Doesn't like filming water scenes either. I read both he & Patrick Wilson both hated filming those scenes.

I would have bought the movie just to watch him say that ("I am charming.") Oh, and for his hot Scottish accent. My mother doesn't really like him (-crosses herself and shivers-) but even she admitted his accent was hot. XDXDXD
